What days do you do flower deliveries in Adelaide?
Flower and gift deliveries are made Monday to Saturday, except for public holidays. We don’t do Sunday deliveries, except if Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day happens to fall on a Sunday.
If you have a special event on a weekend that you’d like to order flower delivery for, we are happy to discuss options so we can meet your needs.
What suburbs do you deliver to in Adelaide?

Can I request a certain colour of flowers?
We have a range of bouquets and vase arrangements to assist with choosing a colour ways, but if you would like to discuss further, you're welcome to give us a call. We promise your loved one will receive something beautiful!
Our Posy&Flute arrangements are made up of locally grown, in-season flowers.
The Native Posy will be made up of a mixture of Australian Native flowers with gum.
All flowers will vary based on seasonality and availability.
What time will the delivery arrive?
We aim to have all of our flowers and gifts delivered to the lucky recipients by 5pm – and aim to get to schools by 3.30pm. You can help us prioritise our deliveries by being as specific as possible with your delivery details, for example specifying if delivery is to a hospital, residence, business or school.
What if no-one is home to accept a flower delivery?
We will always do our best to ensure the flowers are left in a cool, shady area to keep them in peak condition until the recipient gets home. If you have instructions of where to leave the gift in this instance, please add those clear instructions to your order. Please note, if our couriers cannot gain access to the property and are unable to leave your gift at the location, you will be charged a re-delivery fee and the gift will be delivered on another day. No refunds will be provided in this instance, so we recommend choosing a place of business for delivery if you know your recipient is going to be at work and has a hard to access property.
Is there a cut off time for same day delivery?
You must complete your order by 12:00 noon (SA Time) for same day delivery in our listed Adelaide suburbs. Never fear – new flowers are sourced fresh every morning, so you can instead place an order for the following day if you have missed today’s deadline, or we are already sold out of the popular daily bunches.
Do you delivery flowers and gifts to hospitals and schools?
Yes, absolutely! We are so pleased to make someone’s day with your thoughtful gift, no matter where they are in Adelaide. Again - be as specific as you can about where we are delivering too, so we can make our deliveries before the end of school, or to the right patient ward.
Can I order a flower and gift delivery for a date in advance?
Look at how organised you are! Yes, we are happy to book in your delivery for any of our delivery days, but remember – our daily bunches are unique, so what might be delivered today is different to tomorrow. To order a posy and gift package for a date in advance, simply select the chosen delivery date at checkout.

What are the delivery charges?
Delivery is a flat $10 to our listed suburbs for any bunch of flowers, including additional gifts in the order.
Delivery for gift items without flowers is $15.
Do you deliver outside of adelaide?
Yes we do. We only deliver flowers to the listed suburbs within Adelaide, but our Gift Shop & Wine Bar items are available for purchase and delivery across Australia.
Where is Posy&Flute based?
We’re an online florist, with HQ in our Glenelg East studio. All of our orders handmade and delivered from this location. We don’t have a physical shop front so pick up orders are only be prior appointment.

Can I select a specific delivery time for my order?
We're unable to accept delivery time requests due to the daily runs changing for our drivers up until are 12pm cut off.
The good news is you’ll receive notification when your order is out for delivery so you can check the estimated time of your delivery. We also confirm when our drivers have delivered the gift to the lucky recipient.
Our drivers plan their routes according to the most optimised route for order postcodes to ensure they complete their runs as fast as possible, prioritising schools and businesses where we can due to closing times.
